Spring Batch
A domain-reference skill for Spring Batch 5/6 development: job repository wiring
(and the one Boot 4 deliberately does not give you), restart versus a new
JobInstance, ExitStatus routing and deciders, tasklet transaction boundaries,
stride partitioning, the counter that lets a job report DONE having done
nothing, and the testing package most projects declare and never use.
What makes it more than a cheat sheet: every claim is paid for — grounded in runnable sample modules (one module per mechanism, each asserting behaviour rather than describing it) in the author’s spring-boot-playground repo. When the skill is unsure what the framework does, its own instruction is to write the case there and run it, then correct the file.

How it grows
The skill carries its own learning loop: hard-won corrections append to
references/learnings.md, and references/reference-map.md maps each claim to
the sample module that proves it. When reality disagrees with the file, the
file gets corrected — the samples are the arbiter.
